Jennifer Dunlap serves as senior associate, bringing more than 14 years of experience in commercial interior design and architectural development to McDermott Associates. In this role, she is responsible for management and business development for the Design Studio, assuring the smooth operation and profitability. Her technical skills in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite aide in the proficiency of the Studio; while her artistic talent and business-oriented skills allow her to develop creative solutions for corporate and commercial spaces of all sizes.
Prior to joining McDermott Associates, Jennifer spent eight years with a hospitality architecture and design firm wearing many hats including designer, project manager, specifying agent and purchasing agent. Her ability to leverage technology to transform clients design vision into reality helped her forge strong working relationships with clients. She also earned a reputation for delivering projects that exceeded client expectations while remaining on budget. In addition to her work there, Jennifer began teaching as an Adjunct Instructor at Arapahoe Community College in 2007 for two different departments. For the Architecture and Construction Management Department, she teaches AutoCAD classes both for Interior Designers and Architecture, Engineering, and Construction majors. In the Interior Design Department, she teaches courses in drafting, finishes, and commercial design, where she developed a passion for communicating the intricacies of design to aspiring architects and designers.
